FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I resubmit an entry?

Yes, as long as the following two conditions apply. First, your entry must not have won a Saskatchewan ACE the previous year. Second, work on the project and/or measurement must extend into the 2012 Saskatchewan ACE time period. (See Entering.)

Can I submit an entry in more than one category?

Yes. You may submit an entry in any category where it fits the category description. For example, if you are submitting a multi-media campaign targeted at several audiences, you may enter it in Marketing Communication, Community Relations, Multi-Audience Communication and Customer Relations. Submissions in each category constitute a separate entry. And each entry must include two copies of a work plan and work sample and pay a separate entry fee.

Can I enter several different projects?

Yes. You may submit as many entries as you wish. If you are entering several different projects, submit a separate entry form, work plan and work sample for each project. You must also pay the entry fee for each project.

If my project was created by a team, which name do I use as the Entrant’s Name?

For entries involving two people, both names can be provided as the Entrant’s Name (e.g. Jane Oliver & Jill Underwood). For three or more people, the Entrant’s Name should be the person who is principally responsible for the development, management and execution of the entry with reference to the team (e.g. “Jane Oliver and Team Canada”). If a project was created by an agency and a client, who enters it?

Either one can enter as long as the Entrant acknowledges the different roles in the project and includes written permission from the other as part of the entry.

Do Entrants receive feedback?

Yes. For each entry submitted, Entrants receive a one-page evaluation form with scores and brief comments from the judges. All evaluation forms will be emailed to Entrants following the Saskatchewan ACE gala.

How are winners notified and recognized?

Award-winning entries will be announced and showcased at the 2012 Saskatchewan ACE gala.

What happens to the entries once the competition is over?

Entries will not be returned, so please do not send irreplaceable material. All copies of entries will be destroyed following the 2012 Saskatchewan ACE gala.
